About Jhansi
Jhansi, in the Bundelkhand region, is remembered for Rani Lakshmibai and the 1857 uprising. In the city are the Rani Mahal and St Jude's Shrine; at Barua Sagar is the old Jarai-ka-Math temple, and the Sukwa Dukwa Dam is on the Betwa.
