About Khunti
Khunti was carved out of Ranchi district in 2007 and is the birthplace of Birsa Munda, the tribal leader of the Ulgulan movement. Panchghagh Falls, where a stream splits into five falls, and Perwaghagh Falls are popular day trips from Ranchi.
