About Kabirdham
Kabirdham, formerly Kawardha, borders Madhya Pradesh in the Maikal hills. It is known for the Bhoramdeo Temple, about 18 km from Kawardha and called the Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh for its carvings, set in the Bhoramdev Wildlife Sanctuary; the Madwa Mahal is nearby.
