About Gariaband
Gariaband was carved out of Raipur district in 2012. Its best-known town is Rajim, at the meeting of the Mahanadi and Pairi rivers, with the Rajiv Lochan and Ramachandra temples; the Bhooteshwarnath shrine is also in the district.
